Main Responsibilities
You will solve tasks by leading or participating in various projects. The projects are carried out both internally and in other parts of the Headquarters and the rest of the Armed Forces, where you will be partly managed by other leaders. Collaboration will also take place with other authorities and international partners.
The projects involve contributing to overarching strategic concepts, goals, and requirements for the Armed Forces, developing governing documents, coordinating development between the branches of the military, directing how functional schools and competence centers develop their educational and training activities, strategic issues related to NATO implementation, etc. You are also expected to contribute ideas and materials for research, studies, and other development activities to ensure that intelligence and security services remain relevant in the future.
Qualifications
- Officer's degree with completed HOP1, HOP2, or HOP12 (or equivalent ChP/HSU)
- Documented experience of staff service at a relevant level
- Good ability to analyze and structure information, lead projects, build networks, and collaborate
- Good ability to express oneself well in both speech and writing, in Swedish and English
Desirable Qualifications
- Documented experience of intelligence or security service
- Documented formal education in intelligence or security service
- Documented experience from international missions or other international work
- Experience from functional schools and centers
- Documented experience of Headquarters processes and/or development work
- Good language skills in a third language
Personal Qualities

You have a good ability to plan time and resources for both your own work and that of a project group.

You thrive on responsibility, both receiving and taking responsibility, with a good ability to shift pace. You understand when it is time to recover to handle new challenges in the future. You have a high personal maturity, reliability, and integrity which instills confidence in your work. A high security awareness characterizes you as a person.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
The qualifications mentioned above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period

Work location: Stockholm
Short business trips may occur, including participation in the Armed Forces' training activities, which means some weeks of absence per year.
