Social Worker Needed for Summer Temporary Position
We are now looking for a social worker for a summer temporary position at the Adult Unit. Since this is a summer position, interviews will begin as soon as possible, even if the application period has not yet expired.
The unit consists of two teams that investigate interventions for adults according to the Social Services Act and is organizationally part of the Child and Adult Sector within the Social and Labor Market Administration.
Typically, the two teams work with the adult target group or domestic violence, but during the summer we are looking for a social worker who is comfortable working with both.

We also investigate applications from adults seeking support to change violent behavior.

Your New Job
As a social worker at the Adult Unit, you will meet individuals in vulnerable life situations involving addiction and/or violence. Regarding citizens with addiction issues, investigations are conducted according to both the Social Services Act and the Care of Abusers Act.
Working hours are between 8 AM and 5 PM, ensuring high availability to quickly handle incoming urgent cases and implement interventions at short notice. An on-call phone is staffed during office hours.
The work is interesting, challenging, and multifaceted for those who are stimulated by facing complex situations and challenges that require problem-solving and collaboration.
