Payroll Administrator for a Government Agency
Are you a meticulous and service-oriented person with an eye for detail? We are looking for a payroll administrator for a government agency who enjoys working in a structured manner and ensuring that the payroll process runs smoothly and correctly.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a payroll administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient payroll management. Your work includes processing and verifying payroll data, generating payroll lists, and compiling time and absence reports. You will also handle tax and employer contribution reporting and produce reports and statistics as needed. An important part of the role is to provide support and answer questions from employees regarding, for example, salary and vacation leave. With your meticulous and structured approach, you contribute to a smooth payroll process and good service towards the organization's employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate payroll lists
- Process and verify payroll data
- Produce reports and statistics
- Report taxes and employer contributions
- Compile time and absence reports
- Answer questions from employees (e.g., about salary and vacation leave, etc.)
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a high school education or equivalent
- Has at least 1 year of work experience as a payroll administrator
- Has good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Has knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Heroma, Agda, etc.)
- Has knowledge of collective agreements
- Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as it is required in daily work
Other:
Candidates who proceed in the process will be invited for an interview with the agency after 20/3. The interview will focus on how well the consultant has experience with independent work in payroll administration in a larger organization.
