The Research Reception belongs to the field of internal medicine within the emergency care and intermedicine area and conducts patient-centered clinical research. We engage in population studies, clinical trials, and drug testing.
At our reception, research nurses, biomedical analysts, doctors, nursing assistants, data and biobank managers, IT coordinators, coordinators, and administrative staff work together. We are a dedicated team of professionals collaborating to achieve good results. In the unit, we have a strong passion for patient-centered clinical research in internal medicine and strive to provide high-quality services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a biomedical analyst, you will be responsible for developing our biobank, our laboratory, and procedures for handling research samples. The tasks also include blood sampling, glucose tolerance tests, ECG, and blood pressure measurement with the opportunity to learn spirometry examinations.
The working hours at the Research Reception are scheduled during the day on weekdays without weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. You are proficient and comfortable using English in both speech and writing. Good computer skills are a must as a large part of the work is conducted in various computer programs. You have several years of experience working as a biomedical analyst, experience in biobank management, and an interest in working with research. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have previously worked in research and can perform both blood sampling and glucose tolerance tests.
As a person, you are positive, flexible, have good initiative, and a sense of responsibility. You have the ability to work independently while also appreciating teamwork. Since the operation is dynamic and tasks change over time, you should be open to changes. Having a friendly and respectful attitude towards colleagues and study participants is important to you. Since the work involves many meetings with different people, it is crucial that you have a pronounced sense of service. Personal suitability is highly valued.
