We are now looking for leisure teachers for several of our schools in Kristinehamn Municipality.

The school administration's area of responsibility includes activities for children from one year old up to high school. The activities include school staff, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, adapted high school, and cultural school.

Together, we work for students' right to a good education, and the staff is the most important resource of the operation. In your role, you contribute to the development of the operation in the right direction and provide our students with good conditions to grow and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a leisure teacher, you and your colleagues work together to consciously stimulate students' development and learning. We work to ensure that students are offered a meaningful leisure time and provide activities such as fun breaks, safer recesses, and play libraries.

The role includes, among other things:

• Working towards the leisure center, as well as collaborating with the class
• Planning and implementing educational activities according to the curriculum for leisure centers.
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborating with colleagues and guardians to support students' development.
• Together with other educators, being responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of the activities.

We see pedagogical documentation as a natural part of our systematic quality work and our operational development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in leisure centers/leisure pedagogy. You should be well acquainted with the curriculum for leisure centers. You are confident in yourself and in your teaching role and can handle the challenges that arise in and outside the classroom.

You contribute to creating trusting and secure relationships and show enthusiasm and commitment in your interactions with students. All students should meet adults who recognize each student's unique opportunities.

You have a creative and inventive streak and easily adapt to various circumstances and situations that may arise. You communicate clearly and ensure that your message reaches the students.

We would like you to describe your abilities in your application and during a possible interview, particularly in your interactions with students, in leadership, and in collaboration with others. It is important that you can reflect on the content and implementation of the operation from a holistic perspective.
