JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In January 2022, we moved into the new Hammarlundens school F-6. Would you like to join us in developing our operations in the after-school program and the school?

Hammarlundens school F-6 is a school with approximately 660 students. As a teacher in the after-school program, you will work within the after-school program and the combined school day. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to students' development together with other staff in the after-school program, as well as to develop our operations.

Your main task is to plan, implement, and develop the after-school program based on our governing documents together with other staff within the after-school program. Your role during the school day may vary based on your competence and the students' needs.

You will be part of a teaching team where you are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and result-oriented approach, with the students' needs at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical degree focused on after-school programs. We assume that you firmly stand by the school's values and can implement the curriculum with high quality. You should be a clear and positive leader in the child group with the ability to create a good and accessible learning environment. You have an exploratory working method and strive for inclusive solutions with the goal of having students participate in their learning.

We place great importance on personal suitability, and your work should be characterized by curiosity, warmth, and conscious choices.

We would like you to describe your abilities in your application and during a possible interview, in your interactions with students, in leadership, and in collaboration with others. From experience, we know that the ability to analyze and reflect on one's own contributions and the content of the operations is of great importance for quality. Therefore, it is important that you can reflect on the content of the operations and your implementation.

We expect you to have good collaboration skills, a willingness and ability to participate in the systematic quality work of the after-school program and the school.

Experience working in preschool classes, after-school programs, and elementary schools is an advantage.
