About the position

Hammarlunden School F-6 is a school with about 660 students. As a teacher in the after-school program with a qualification in music, you will work within the after-school program and the combined school day. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to students' development together with other staff in the after-school program and teaching colleagues, as well as to develop our operations.

You will have a shared main assignment where you primarily teach music during the school day, as well as within the after-school program's activities.

You will be part of a teaching team where you are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and result-oriented approach with students' needs at the center. There are good collaboration opportunities with teaching colleagues in the subject of music.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical degree focused on after-school programs, as well as qualifications in music for grades 4-6. We assume that you stand firmly in the school's values and can implement the curriculum with high quality. You should be a clear and positive leader in the group of children with the ability to create a good and accessible learning environment. You have an exploratory working method and work towards inclusive solutions with the goal of students being involved in their learning. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and your work should be characterized by curiosity, warmth, and conscious choices. We want you to describe your abilities in interacting with students, in leadership, and in collaboration with others in your application and during a potential interview. From experience, we know that the ability to analyze and reflect on one's own contributions and the content of the operations is of great importance for quality. Therefore, it is important that you can reflect on the content of the operations and your implementation.

We expect you to have good collaboration skills, the willingness and ability to participate in the systematic quality work of the after-school program and school.
