JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In January 2022, we moved into the new Hammarlunden School F-6. Would you like to join us in developing our activities in the after-school program and school?

Hammarlunden School F-6 is a school with approximately 660 students. As a teacher in the after-school program with a qualification in music, you will work within the after-school program and the combined school day. Here, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other staff in the after-school program and teaching colleagues to contribute to students' development and to develop our activities.

You will have a shared main assignment where you primarily teach music during the school day, as well as within the after-school program's activities.

You will be part of a teaching team where you are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and result-oriented approach with students' needs at the center. There are good collaboration opportunities with teaching colleagues in the subject of music.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical degree focused on after-school programs, as well as a qualification in music for grades 4-6. We expect you to stand firmly in the school's values and to implement the curriculum with high quality. You should be a clear and positive leader in the child group with the ability to create a good and accessible learning environment. You have an exploratory working method and work towards inclusive solutions with the goal of students being active participants in their learning.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and your work should be characterized by curiosity, warmth, and conscious choices.

We want you to describe your abilities in your application and during a possible interview, in your interactions with students, in leadership, and in collaboration with others. From experience, we know that the ability to analyze and reflect on one's own contributions and the content of the activities is of great importance for quality. Therefore, it is important that you can reflect on the content of the activities and your implementation.

We expect you to have good collaboration skills, a willingness and ability to participate in the systematic quality work of the after-school program and school.

Experience from working in preschool classes, after-school programs, and elementary school is an advantage.

Start date: 2025-08-04

Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
