Administrator Wanted for Summer Job

We are looking for a driven administrator with a good sense of service who wants to work with us this summer!

Job Responsibilities

The assignment aims to support managers' administration regarding personnel management together with three other colleagues, including staffing coordination, scheduling at the clinic, hiring, and onboarding, etc.

The tasks will include:

  • Staffing coordination/planning at the clinic's departments in Varberg
  • Addressing staffing needs for nursing staff that arise in the short and long term
  • Ensuring that the correct salary is paid to employees through quality controls and reporting discrepancies and absences in the personnel administrative system.
  • Creating individual schedules for new hires and updating work schedules when changes occur
  • Keeping up to date with routines and agreements and how they should be applied, so that you can support managers in their daily work
  • Demonstrating how time reporting should be handled, both for new hires and existing staff

You will have close contact with managers and their staff, and you will also be a point of contact between managers and administrators at the Shared Administrative Service, GAS. In this role, you are expected to contribute with engagement, a service mindset, and deliver effective administrative support to the management's leaders.

About the Workplace

The psychiatry for young people and adults in Halland is gathered in a common administration located in Varberg. 900 employees work in the administration and are responsible for all public specialist psychiatry in the entire county. The administration is divided into the areas of child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatric outpatient care, and adult psychiatric inpatient care.

We are now looking for administrative support for managers at the psychiatric clinic in Varberg. Here there are six care departments, an emergency room, and various clinics focused on psychiatric care.

Qualifications

We see that you at least have a high school diploma and a suitable background for the assignment, such as education/experience in payroll/personnel administration and have very good computer skills.

You possess good skills in scheduling and can assist with new schedules at the clinic.

You have very good administrative abilities. Further experience in staffing administration, payroll administration, and knowledge of laws and agreements regarding the hiring process are important to succeed in the role of managerial support with us.

As a person, you are driven by contributing to continuous improvements by spreading knowledge to both managers and employees and providing good service to managers that facilitates their everyday questions regarding salary, compensation, and hiring. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks and has the will and ability to help others. The work requires you to be proactive and able to work both independently and in a team.

Attributes such as communication skills, engagement, stress resistance, and flexibility are of great importance. You work goal-oriented, structured, accurately, and responsibly, and have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
