A job where you have a varied everyday life in a company where a lot is happening and which is centrally located in Örebro. In the role of automation technician, you report directly to our maintenance manager.

As an automation technician, you will be part of a team of seven people, including electricians and maintenance mechanics.

Together, you will create the conditions for production to operate with high efficiency and availability. Your days will be varied; you will perform planned interventions, address urgent issues, and drive improvement processes related to automation in our production.

You will work with the commissioning of automation solutions and switchgear within production, as well as related to our property. You will also perform service, troubleshooting, and be a resource and support for new installations and projects. You will also work with electrical constructions, read and update CAD drawings,

work with PLC programming (operator panels, frequency converters, and servo drives). We primarily use Siemens drives.

The role involves many internal contacts with your team, but also with various people working in production. You will also have contacts with external partners.

Together with the maintenance manager and your colleagues, you will continuously work to improve and streamline maintenance work.

As an automation technician, you will work daytime hours.

We are looking for someone with experience as an automation technician who has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You are engaged and enjoy a varied everyday life, stimulated by problem-solving, and try to see opportunities instead of problems and obstacles. For us, it is important that you want to be in an environment where we have fun at work.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you have education in automation, and we believe you have experience from similar work in the industry.

You have experience with PLC, which is an advantage but not a requirement if you have basic knowledge of PLC and IT systems. Since we work with Siemens, it is advantageous if you have experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. You speak and write Swedish fluently and are also accustomed to using a computer as your daily tool.
