Our client Linde Material Handling is looking for several proactive and creative mechanics to work on customizing forklifts according to customer needs.

You do not necessarily need to have worked as a mechanic or repair technician. However, you need to have a burning interest in mechanics and a personal interest where you have performed repairs or service work.

About the Position

As a mechanic, you will work on customizing various types of forklifts according to customer specifications. This can involve everything from simple adjustments to significantly more advanced modifications, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical work, and to some extent programming.

You will work in a team but will be responsible for your own projects, which means you will take personal responsibility for delivering forklifts on time. You will be offered a challenging and varied job with good development opportunities.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience and a strong interest in mechanics, hydraulics, and vehicle electronics. If you have previous experience working with vehicles, we consider it highly meritorious. Since the work pace is high and some jobs are complex, you need to see yourself as an experienced mechanic and technical problem solver.

As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and solution-focused. You also understand the importance of building good relationships both internally and externally. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues but can also drive your own projects. You are not afraid to take your own initiatives and make suggestions when ready-made solutions are lacking.

Requirements for the Position:

• Experience in vehicle mechanics and vehicle electronics
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings

Meritorious:

• Forklift license
• Overhead crane license

Additional Information

Working hours: daytime with flexibility
Start date: as soon as possible

This position is a consulting assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension or takeover. Selection is ongoing, so please register your application as soon as possible.
