The transport operations are part of the Regional Management Administration and support the Region's activities with responsibilities including mortuary services, patient transport, waste management, pharmaceutical distribution, transportation of medical supplies, and assistive device transport within Ångermanland.

The transport unit in Örnsköldsvik, with a total of 17 employees, aims to deliver service with high customer satisfaction, accessibility, and reliability within its operational area. The operations are primarily linked to Örnsköldsvik Hospital, but truck transports within Ångermanland are also carried out daily. The transport unit in Örnsköldsvik is now seeking 7 substitutes for the summer. The positions are full-time temporary contracts from 2025-05-06 to 2025-08-17, or by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute at the Transport Unit, you will work with:

  • Internal logistics
  • Waste management
  • Mortuary work
  • Pharmaceutical deliveries
  • Patient transport
  • Textile handling
  • Assistive device transport

As heavy lifting is involved in the work, good physical ability is a prerequisite.

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a complete upper secondary education
  • Has good computer skills
  • Has a B driver's license
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

  • Have a C driver's license with professional competence certificate
  • Have a forklift license
  • Have work experience in the profession
  • Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
