Within our vehicle workshop, we carry out ongoing service and repairs of passenger cars, light and heavy transport vehicles, as well as other machinery. The workgroup in the section currently consists of two coordinators/customer representatives and three mechanics, who together service and repair almost all of the municipality's vehicles and machines. Every day, a large number of vehicles pass through our workshop, where we constantly strive to deliver the best possible service at the best possible price.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

• Perform service and repairs on heavy machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders, and graders
• Conduct maintenance work and repairs on passenger cars and light trucks
• Repair and service small machines such as chainsaws, lawnmowers, and other gardening tools
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and implement appropriate measures
• Ensure that all work is performed according to applicable safety and quality standards
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the workshop and maintain tools and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified service technician/repairer with broad experience in service and repairs of various types of vehicles. You have a high school education and experience working in automotive and/or machinery workshops. The role requires proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic computer skills. A B driver's license is a requirement.

It is advantageous to have:

• Automotive mechanical education
• EV training
• Refrigeration certificate type. Cat 5 (R134a)
• Welding education/certificate
• Hot work
• Overhead crane certificate
• Forklift license
• Experience in troubleshooting in areas such as hydraulics & electricity
• Longer work experience in automotive/machine workshops
• Other licenses than a B driver's license
