Process Operator

As a process operator at Domsjö Fabriker, you will learn an exciting process and become part of a friendly community with a family-like atmosphere in a shift team. As an operator, you will be responsible for controlling the process with a focus on safety, environment, and quality. You will be part of a shift team of about 30 people working continuously in six shifts with twelve-hour work shifts.

You will work closely with other operators and production leaders as well as colleagues from maintenance, marketing, and environmental departments. You will be part of a team where everyone is important for thriving, developing, and growing together.

You will participate in our introduction program and training required for you to work safely and successfully at Domsjö Fabriker.

We are now looking for operators for the department: Steam Central

In the role of process operator with us, you will:

• Be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and control of the production process through rounds, sampling, and work from the control room.
• Ensure that our products are manufactured safely, with the right quality and on time.
• Perform operator maintenance and assist in maintenance efforts.
• Work to optimize production regarding safety, environment, and quality.
• Report deviations regarding operational and personnel safety.

Are you the one we are looking for?

• You have experience in the industry, preferably process industry. You have at least a high school education.
• Mathematics/chemistry/physics equivalent to a natural/technical high school is an advantage.
• A degree from a process operator training program is an advantage. To succeed in the role, you have a technical interest and enjoy solving problems. You have experience and a strong interest in practical or technical work.
• Good computer skills and previous experience working in systems/data are advantageous.
