Job Responsibilities

As an electrical installer at Eltel, you will primarily work outdoors with electricity distribution networks of 0.4–36 kV, including substations, transformer stations, and control equipment. You will perform both new construction, reconstruction, as well as operation, repair, and service work for customers, including the Swedish Transport Administration and the Armed Forces. In this role, you will be a key person in the execution team!

You will belong to Eltel's northern district and work in Örnsköldsvik and surrounding areas. Here you will be part of an experienced team of about 40 colleagues working in Jämtland and Västernorrland counties. Eltel values a culture characterized by trust, collaboration, and open communication.

• Installation, maintenance, and reinforcement of electricity distribution networks.
• Connection, splicing, and handling of interruption permits.
• Work with cable laying and installation of outdoor electrical cabinets.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and customers.
• Daily reporting via systems and phone.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• High school education with a focus on electricity and energy or equivalent
• Driver's license B (manual transmission)
• Experience with distribution electricity and heavier cables
• Several years of experience in the industry is an advantage
• Training such as Work on the Road, Hot Work, Bas-P/Bas-U, ESA training is an advantage
• Driving license for snowmobiles and ATVs is an advantage

The work involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical networks, which requires precision and solution orientation. Safety is central, and you must follow regulations closely.
