We are now looking for lifeguards who want to help create a fantastic swimming experience for our guests in the summer of 2025.

Byske Temperate Outdoor Bath is located adjacent to the 5-star camping facility Byske Havsbad, where we have a well-established collaboration with a guest-focused approach. The bath offers a large 25-meter pool, a children's pool, and two water slides: Turbo and Kamikaze. Vitbergsbadet is located adjacent to Skellefteå Camping. Here you will find a wave machine, water slides, a children's pool, a warm water pool, and a bubble pool. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

During the summer, we have many visitors at our outdoor baths, which means high safety standards are required. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pools, maintaining the facility, cleaning, water purification, cash handling, and organizing activities for guests or other service tasks.

With us, you will be part of a team that strives to provide high service and a warm welcome to all customers.

Working hours are scheduled across all days of the week, approximately 80-100% position. The employment period is from about June 14 to August 17.

For those of you who will work with us this summer, we will schedule a training day before the season starts.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a lifeguard, you must be at least 18 years old by June 14, 2025. You need to have good swimming skills and feel comfortable in the water. It is important to us that all lifeguards feel secure in their roles, and you will receive a thorough introduction to the job, including CPR training.

We are looking for someone with good judgment and the ability to act calmly even in stressful situations. Since you will frequently interact with our guests, you need to be service-oriented and have an interest and ability to help others. As the work is team-based, we also expect you to have good collaboration skills.

To work in our organization, you are required to provide an extract from the criminal record. You can order the extract yourself at Police (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/). The criminal record you need can be found under the tab "Other work with children".

The Culture and Leisure Office works to ensure that facilities, outdoor activities, youth centers, association support, campgrounds, and cultural and library services function as well as possible for everyone living and working in Skellefteå. The operations are conducted sustainably and equitably, focusing on health, living environment, and collaboration.
