Your role:

As an Occupational Health Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure working environment for the Concentration Plant in Boliden and the projects in the Boliden area. You will provide occupational health support to the contractors of the projects and Boliden's own staff, as well as arrange safety rounds and regularly be out in the field to check and follow up that safety regulations are followed.

Your work:

You will report to the local occupational health manager, your workplace will be at the Concentration Plant in Boliden, and the job includes travel to the Boliden area's mines. The position is a fixed-term employment starting by agreement until 2026.

You will:

  • Provide occupational health support and arrange safety rounds
  • Check and follow up on safety regulations in operations
  • Lead and support risk analyses
  • Develop instructions for future operations
  • Support in accident investigations and IA support
  • Conduct safety training and orientations
  • Create training materials and assist with occupational hygiene measurements
  • Participate in compliance rounds and promote good discussions about occupational health
  • Work closely with project managers on larger projects

  • Relevant education from a vocational school as an occupational health engineer or a university degree in engineering, health, and occupational health development or equivalent
  • Experience in occupational health work within industry and projects or similar operations is an advantage
  • Experience in conducting training and orientations is an advantage
  • Knowledge of risk analyses and accident investigations
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Driving license B is a requirement
