We are looking for a personal assistant for a happy and positive young woman in Vara. My name is Annika and I work as a customer manager at FMF Assistans. One of my most important tasks is to ensure that staffing works well for our customers. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to become an important person in Giulia's daily life.

Giulia is a happy, positive, and playful 26-year-old girl who loves playing, walking, and being active. She lives with her mother, father, and younger sister in Vara.

She has extensive care needs and requires support with everything from play, meals, personal care, and communication to exercise and stimulation. Giulia also has epilepsy and needs active supervision. Although she is an adult, she has developmental needs similar to a small child, and it is important that you can meet her with patience, joy, and engagement.

Giulia participates in day activities on weekdays. Outside of these times, her personal assistants are by her side to help her have a secure, meaningful, and active daily life. For Giulia, it is important that you, as an applicant, are female, as she feels safer and more comfortable with women.

About the position

Currently, only her mother and father work as personal assistants, and we are now looking for a temporary substitute who can work primarily in the afternoons and evenings after day activities. Weekend work also occurs.

During the summer, when Giulia is not at day activities, there is an opportunity to work more – averaging around 30 hours per week. Extra shifts may also become available if needed, for example, in case of illness or vacation.

You will work in Giulia's home and receive individualized introduction and training regarding her care needs, routines, and working methods.

The assistant's role and experience

You are a positive, responsible, and responsive person with great patience and a genuine interest in working with people. You are proactive, confident, and enjoy coming up with activities, playing, and creating a rich daily life.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours, as we work together to create a functional staffing schedule and always prioritize Giulia's needs. Experience in personal assistance or working with people with disabilities is advantageous, but personal suitability is most important. Advantageous experiences

• Swedish in speech and writing.

• Hourly employment starting as agreed.

• During the summer, there is an opportunity for more hours, approximately 30 hours per week on average.
