Are you passionate about delivering world-class service and eager to get a glimpse into a major company? We are looking for a service star to join a well-known pension company on a full-time basis! Read more below and apply today, as the start date is August 31st!

About the role

Academic Work is recruiting a Customer Service Representative for a large pension company's office in central Stockholm. The assignment is full-time, starting on August 31st, and initially lasts for six months with the possibility of extension.

This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a reliable and important first point of contact for customers. You will handle incoming calls from customers, which is why we are looking for someone who enjoys talking on the phone and providing world-class service. No prior specialist knowledge is required – you will be provided with the necessary tools and support. What matters most is your ability to provide professional service and treat customers with calmness and engagement.

The assignment begins on August 31st with an introductory training program to give you the best possible conditions for success in the role. The training consists of both theoretical parts, where you will learn about systems, routines, and common customer cases, as well as practical sessions in the form of call shadowing, where you will observe experienced colleagues in conversations. This way, you will gain both knowledge and confidence before entering customer dialogues yourself.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving incoming calls and handling related administration
  • Answering customer inquiries using guides and clear routines
  • Listening to customer needs and forwarding cases when necessary

We are looking for someone who

  • Has previous work experience within customer service
  • Enjoys working with the telephone as the primary tool
  • Has completed upper secondary education
  • Has very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as these are used in daily work

For this role, we highly value personal qualities and are looking for someone who has empathy and is receptive, and who can naturally adapt to the customer's situation. You are communicative and confident in conveying messages, while also having a good ability to handle stress and endurance even when the pace is high and questions are often repetitive. As a person, you are responsible and unpretentious – you prefer to ask rather than guess – and you want to contribute to a helpful environment where we learn together and grow through experience.

Our recruitment process

We conduct rolling selections and will remove the advertisement when enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to find the candidate with the highest potential for the role and to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.
