About the position

We are looking for an engaged person who wants to contribute to a safe, active, and well-functioning daily life for our 7-year-old client in Hisings Backa, Gothenburg. The girl was born with Cornelia de Lange syndrome, and the assignment places high demands on responsibility as she has a significant care need and certain medical interventions are part of the daily work.

To succeed in the role, it is important that you are curious, attentive, and show a genuine interest in the child. You also need to be proactive and motivated to find activities that stimulate and develop. In the daily work, communication training and physical training are included as a natural part of the assistance. Since English is the language used in the assistance, you need to master English fluently in both speaking and understanding.

We are now looking for you who fit the following:

• want to work with a 7-year-old girl living in Hisings Backa, Gothenburg

• have good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing

• have good physical fitness

• are non-smoking

It is also meritorious if you:

• have previous experience within healthcare

• have experience working with children

• have experience working with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, extent of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment" and is a temporary position of approx. 2 months with the start of training in September. The position is approx. 70% and spans between October and November/December. Working hours are 16:30-22:00 on weekdays and 10:00-17:00 on weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.
