We are the social secretaries for the placed children; we are their "authority parents". Together with the children's biological parents and foster parents, we create the conditions for a good upbringing.

We are a stable work group with long and extensive experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Being a child secretary involves exercising authority according to both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Young Persons (LVU). We work in close cooperation with the child/young person, guardians, the foster home, school, and other authorities.

You will be offered close leadership, a well-thought-out introduction to the work, frequent methodological supervision, education/training initiatives, and participation in a supervision group together with other social secretaries.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker or social pedagogue with eligibility for work with children and young people. It is meritorious if you have experience of social work with children and young people as well as authority exercises. If you have experience within foster care and are well versed in the work with placed children and young people, it is extra meritorious.

We want you to be a positive person who enjoys collaborating and working together. You are secure and stable and contribute to a generous and good climate in the work group. You are also quality-conscious and can express yourself well in speech and writing. The ability to handle cases legally securely and to maintain structure is important, as is the ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with the children/young people, their parents, and their foster parents. We place great value on personal suitability.
