Do you want the opportunity to develop in your role as a nurse? We are now looking for a nurse who is interested in working at our outpatient clinic together with competent and accessible colleagues. In the first instance, you will work in one of our two general psychiatric teams.
Job Responsibilities
The work at the clinic consists of psychiatric nursing, telephone counseling, documentation, follow-ups, assessments, coordination with care partners, and some emergency operations. You work with individual-based care in a team and make independent psychiatric assessments.
In the general psychiatric team, your duties are psychiatric nursing with a focus on patients with neuropsychiatric diagnoses, severe depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, personality syndromes, and suicidality.
You will be part of a welcoming group of 14 highly competent nurses and will be offered a good introduction and continuous support in your work. You will be assigned an experienced nurse as a mentor and will be offered supervision. As a nurse in psychiatric outpatient care in Kungsbacka, you will work in close collaboration with the other professions working at the clinic.

About the Workplace
The outpatient care offers psychiatry close to the residents and has clinics in each municipality. Our operational focus Right care at the right time! means a constant work towards increased quality, shorter lead times, and better patient participation. Improvement work is ongoing and involves all staff, and you have great opportunities to influence the development of psychiatry in Kungsbacka.
The clinic in Kungsbacka consists of two general psychiatric teams, an addiction team, and a psychosis team, as well as a county-wide OCD team. The Adult Psychiatry Clinic (VPM) in Kungsbacka is a specialist psychiatric clinic with approximately 65 employees who work in a cross-professional manner, in collaboration with both inpatient care and primary care.
The teams include doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, care assistants, physiotherapists, rehab coordinators, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Kungsbacka has the task of investigating and treating specialist psychiatric patients. The target group is people over 18 years old with, among other things, severe depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and suicidality.
The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Kungsbacka is located approximately 20 minutes by train from Gothenburg and Varberg. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Previous experience working in psychiatry is meritorious. You have good cooperation skills but also the ability to work independently. If you do not have work experience in psychiatry, we would like you to tell a little in your application why you are interested in working with us. We will pay attention to your previous experience - but if you are the right person, we will offer you the opportunity to develop in our operations. We place great importance on personal suitability.
A Category B driver's license is desirable.
