We are welcoming a new colleague to Hertig Knut Health Centre, a primary care clinic where we place great emphasis on an open working climate where we respect and communicate with each other.

Job Responsibilities

Here you will work independently with our diabetes clinic, providing advice, support, and education to patients. You will also work in a team together with doctors and other professions at the health centre.

As a diabetes nurse/registered nurse with us, you may, among other things, work with:

• Your own diabetes clinic, including new patient visits, follow-ups, and medication adjustments.
• Prescribing consumable items within diabetes care.
• Staffing our telephone advice service.
• Both physical visits and digital healthcare meetings.

Depending on the employment percentage, usual duties at the district nurse clinic may also be added.

About the Workplace

Hertig Knut Health Centre is a medium-sized health centre with approximately 9,500 registered patients. The operations are located in the center of Halmstad. The health centre consists of a doctor's clinic and a district nurse clinic, a sampling lab, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, counseling, a child health center, and specialist clinics for asthma/COPD and diabetes.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a district nurse or registered nurse with competence and education in the diabetes field. You are a service-oriented and solution-focused person with a good attitude towards others. You find it easy to collaborate and thrive working in a team. At the health centre, it is also required that you can work independently and have the ability to be flexible. We also look for engagement and a willingness to actively contribute to the development of our operations. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
