As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a competent team of approximately 6 colleagues, forming the maintenance department at Kristianstad Cheese Processing. The work as a maintenance technician is broad, free, and varied, requiring technical competence, responsibility, and initiative. You will work both independently and in teams.

On-call duty is included in the position.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Performing both preventive and emergency/corrective maintenance, and working in our maintenance system, Maintmaster
• Performing service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and equipment
• Contributing to improvement work and projects
• Assisting in the installation of equipment

We are looking for you who have an interest in technical and mechanical maintenance work. You have likely worked as a technician, mechanic, or technical machine operator previously. We would prefer that you have a technical high school education or vocational training in maintenance or machine technology. Experience with automation and PLC programming is also a plus.

Since the role involves many contact points, it is important that you have good communication skills and can collaborate with colleagues in different parts of the organization. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. We also appreciate that you are computer literate and familiar with how a maintenance system works.

As a person, you are a non-hierarchical and solution-oriented team player who has the ability to work independently and take initiative. You have the desire to learn and develop, and you are responsible, precise, structured, and safety-conscious in your work, caring about performing a good job. It is important that you have a positive attitude and analytical skills.
