Job Responsibilities

In the role of service technician, you work with the service and repair of construction machinery, both at the workshop and out in the field. You follow the service process from start to finish – from customer contact and troubleshooting to repairs and registration of work. You operate from a facility or your home base and conduct your work with your service vehicle to be able to assist our customers directly on site.

Today I work as a service technician, and a typical day involves planning assignments together with customers and performing repairs and service directly at their workplaces. Your Profile

We pride ourselves on high service and skill in the field, and as a service technician, you represent Söderberg & Haak out with our customers. As a person, you are service-oriented and accustomed to working independently. You are solution-focused, meticulous, and take responsibility for driving your work forward. The role involves variety and a lot of travel with a service vehicle, which you see as a positive aspect.

• Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably in heavy construction.
• Vocational training in vehicle technology or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge and experience with vehicle electrics, hydraulics, and welding.
• Swedish in speech and writing. Our manuals are in English, so you need to have English reading comprehension.
• A driver's license (Category B) is required; a Category C license is an advantage.
