Job Description

As an Information Officer, your most important task is to welcome our visitors, answer their questions, and refer them on if necessary. The role also includes some patient support for "Min Vård Gävleborg" (My Care Gävleborg). You will answer a wide variety of questions, where it is important to provide that little extra to ensure the visitor has a good experience during the meeting or phone contact. The work involves significant personal responsibility, and you will primarily work at the information desk in the hospital entrance, as well as in the digital support for "Min Vård Gävleborg".

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Referring patients and providing practical help with navigation on the hospital grounds.

Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

As an Information Officer, you should:

  • Have at least a high school diploma
  • Have experience in information or service work where you have had direct contact with people
  • Be computer literate
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience from healthcare is meritorious. Good local knowledge of the hospital area, Gävle, and the surrounding area is also an advantage, as you will guide patients and visitors both within the hospital and to clinics and activities adjacent to the hospital grounds.

About the Position

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment (hourly position as needed).

Duration: 6 months or longer, start: According to agreement, end: 2027-09-30.
