Regional Coordinator for Working Life Crime

Your new job

As a Regional Coordinator at the Department for Joint Authority Control, you are an important part of the Swedish Work Environment Authority's government mandate to counteract working life crime together with eight other authorities.

Your role is to coordinate, develop, and follow up on the work at the Regional Centre for Working Life Crime (AKC). By creating conditions for effective collaboration, you contribute to the authorities' joint work gaining traction and leading to concrete results.

The work involves planning and coordinating joint authority interventions, preparing materials for decisions, following up on operations, and reporting results. You are also responsible for translating national and regional decisions into practical work and contributing to the development of working methods that strengthen the fight against working life crime. In this role, you collaborate with participating authorities, municipalities, labor market partners, and other relevant actors. You also represent the AKC in regional and national contexts and contribute to experience sharing and development together with other centers in the country.

Contact with media and giving lectures at conferences for external and internal stakeholders occurs in the work.

The work is based in central Örebro, and you are physically present at least 3 days a week, partly at the AKC and partly at the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regional office in Örebro.

Your background

The role requires that you have:

• Relevant higher education/university education of at least 180 credits (120 credits under the previous system) or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
• Several years of current experience working in public sector operations.
• Several years of experience coordinating, leading, or driving work across organizational boundaries.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good oral proficiency in English.
• B-driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in project management, process management, or business development.
• Experience working within a state authority.
• Current experience working with working life crime, organized crime, or related societal issues.

To succeed in the role, you need to have very good collaboration skills and enjoy building trusting relationships. You work in a structured and results-oriented manner and have the ability to handle complex issues with good judgment and high integrity. The role also requires that you are interested in driving development and are keen on being transparent in your communication. In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

An employment with us may involve the position being placed in a security classification. Therefore, a security clearance with or without register check may be conducted before a decision on employment is made. For some of our security-classified tasks, Swedish citizenship is required. Security clearance is conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

The employment is a permanent, full-time position currently located at our office in Örebro. We apply individual salary setting and a six-month probation period.
