We are looking for you with drive, willingness, and experience who want the privilege of being involved in the development of our educational activities. Your duties include teaching core subjects in our upper secondary Electrical and Energy Programme, as well as planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the teaching and the programme.

The Position

Two of our teachers are moving on to other assignments, so we are now looking for two new teachers within the Electrical and Energy Programme. One position focuses on teaching automation, and the other on electrical engineering, replacing the departing teachers. Our vocational teachers teach together in teaching teams across all year groups within the programme and maintain contact with the industry.

Your role involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the teaching of core subjects in our upper secondary Electrical and Energy Programme, together with the programme's other vocational teachers. As a vocational teacher at Gislaved Gymnasium, you will participate in a work team.

Qualifications

Desirable background and qualifications include being a certified vocational teacher in automation and electrical engineering, or having other adequate experience. If you do not have teacher training, we still encourage you to apply; in that case, you can complete the necessary qualifications for a vocational teacher partially during the employment.

It is an advantage if you are good at connecting with others, as this is an important part of the work as a vocational teacher. Over time, you will actively contribute to internal cooperation to continuously improve the quality and educational experience for our students. You are responsible and collaborative. In your work, you collaborate with students, guardians, other teaching staff, student health services, and many other professional groups. You are or will become familiar with the school's regulations and knowledge in the field. The person we see in this role is creative and open to new ideas and ways of thinking.
