Description

We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented case worker with a focus on physical working environment and premises. We offer you an exciting assignment at the Child and Education Administration in Värnamo Municipality, where you have a key role with many contact surfaces.

You will work at the administrative unit together with two colleagues with similar tasks. In addition to premises and security issues, the unit is also responsible for HR issues, staffing, IT issues, school transport, and the handling of summonses, minutes, and public documents. The workplace is at the Courthouse in central Värnamo, where the administration's central functions and management are located. The Child and Education Administration has approximately 1,350 employees within preschool, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and arts school.

Responsibilities

You are part of a team working with working environment, premises issues, and projects. Your tasks are to coordinate and implement decisions within property and security-related areas. You will represent the administration towards other administrations and external stakeholders within your areas of responsibility.

The position is a support function to the managers, principals, and operations of the Child and Education Administration.

Qualifications

You have relevant post-secondary education, for example in project management, property, working environment, security, or other education assessed as relevant by the employer.

Experience from school-related issues and project management is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge in economics, procurement, or purchasing.

You have good experience and are confident in working digitally and master Office 365 without difficulty. You are skilled at expressing yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and communicate clearly.

To succeed in the role, you must be self-reliant and proactive, as well as have good cooperation skills and be good at building relationships since you have many contact surfaces. As a person, you need to be flexible, thorough, and service-oriented.

Conditions

The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made. Interviews may take place continuously before the application deadline. Start date 2026-10-01 or as agreed.

Child and Education Administration
Our administration is responsible for preschools, primary schools, upper secondary school, adult education, and arts school in the municipality.
