We are a department with 14 care beds and approximately 30 employees who, together with the clinic, provide internal medicine care around the clock to the population in the western part of the county. Our common focus is to offer emergency care with good patient safety and a welcoming attitude.

Job Description

Here, you will meet patients from all inpatient internal medicine areas, but specifically, you will meet the patient who has acutely fallen ill or deteriorated in their heart condition. We work in teams together with the patient, where our goal is to meet the patient's needs in the acute phase and to plan for future care needs. Here, the care flow is often fast with short care periods. Your responsibilities as a nurse include everything from nursing care, medication administration, preparations for examinations, to reviewing heart monitoring. The work also involves handling medical technical equipment such as manual defibrillators, mobile, and fixed heart monitoring. On the department, electrical conversions are performed for both outpatient and inpatients. We are also responsible for the hospital's cardiac arrest alarms.

About You

Whether you are a newly graduated nurse or experienced, you are welcome to apply for a job with us. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You need to be a team player as we work together in teams. In stressful situations, you should be able to maintain a calm and stable exterior, both for the patient's sake and to ensure smooth cooperation. You should thrive in the acute flow where no day is like the other. We want you, like us, to have a welcoming attitude, a positive approach, and to put the patient's best interest first. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and maturity.

Application and Employment

We are keen that your working hours should be in balance with the rest of your life. We therefore offer the working time model 90/10, which means that you work 90 percent for a full-time salary. We work with rolling selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
