We are now looking for an engaged nurse assistant for our psychiatric outpatient clinic. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a practice where the patient is at the center, and where collaboration, development, and quality permeate daily work.
Our Offer
The Psychiatric Clinic Motala Mjölby consists of outpatient clinics within general psychiatry and addiction care in Motala and Mjölby. The operations also include an inpatient ward and a mobile nursing team, both located in Motala.
The clinic works from a cohesive care chain with treatment responsibility in both outpatient and inpatient care. The clinic covers western Östergötland as its catchment area and has been part of Psychiatric Centre (Psykiatricentrum) since 2020, together with all other psychiatric activities in Region Östergötland.

Job Description
As a nurse assistant, you work with psychiatric nursing care where you support, motivate, and guide patients in their recovery and treatment. You contribute with assessments, documentation, and follow-ups, and actively work to strengthen the patient's own resources.
The duties include among other things:
- Psychiatric nursing care.
- Treatment follow-ups.
- Psychoeducational and supportive conversations.
- Health checks.
- Telephone counseling.
- Coordination of interventions around the patient.
- Collaboration with relatives, care neighbors, and other actors.
The work takes place in close collaboration with the other professions in the team, and assessments are often carried out together to ensure the best possible care.

Application and Employment
The position is a permanent employment that may begin with a 6-month probationary period, with appointment by agreement. Interviews will take place on Wednesday, August 19.
Before employment in a patient-oriented role within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to fill out a health declaration.
