Together, we work to accelerate the development towards a resource-efficient society – where sustainability, innovation, and public benefit go hand in hand.

Your role

As an Operations Technician, you contribute to ensuring high operational safety in our facilities. You work with both planned and corrective maintenance and play a central role in keeping our processes efficient and safe. The work is varied and involves taking responsibility for your own tasks while collaborating with colleagues on larger projects. You have great opportunities to plan and structure your working days yourself, in close dialogue with the team leader.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities
  • Be responsible for the daily operation of production facilities and follow up and work proactively to minimize operational disruptions
  • Analyze trend data and history in SCADA systems
  • Participate in on-call duties according to schedule
  • Conduct rounds of external facilities
  • Work according to the work order process, including fault reporting, planning, and risk assessment
  • Contribute to development, follow-up, and structure within your own area of responsibility

We are looking for two people for similar roles located at:

  • Kungsängen Plant in Västerås
  • Hallstahammar/Surahammar

Please state in your application which location you prefer. If you are interested in both positions, you are welcome to indicate this.

On-call duties are included in the position and run on a six-week schedule where you, among other things, conduct rounds and analyze our facilities.

We offer stimulating work with skilled colleagues, good development opportunities, and favorable employment conditions such as competence development and flexible working hours.

We are looking for you

We are looking for you who have a secondary education and experience in maintenance and mechanical work, preferably within the water and wastewater industry or similar industry. You have a strong interest and commitment to the water and wastewater sector and want to contribute to safe and efficient operations.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, responsible, and unpretentious, as well as have the ability to step in where needed. You enjoy taking personal responsibility, are driven by problem-solving, and can analyze operational data. You have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team. We would like you to prioritize safety highly, work in a goal-oriented manner, and follow applicable laws and safety regulations.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Requirements for the position are Swedish in speech and writing, good computer skills, and a class B driver's license.

Please state in your application if you prefer any of the locations or if you are flexible regarding the placement location.
