Do you have a background in the industry and sales experience?
We are looking for someone with a practical background in the industry who currently works in sales, quotation preparation, or customer contact. You know how a job works in reality because you have been there yourself – and that is the experience we value.
At Jernbro, you will have a free and varied role where you build relationships, calculate jobs, and help our customers find the right solutions. You work with both recurring service assignments and larger industrial projects, playing a key role in developing the business together with both new and existing customers.
About the Role
As a Technical Sales Representative, you work closely with both customers and operations. You visit customers, identify needs, calculate jobs, prepare quotations, and follow the business through to completion.
You create business with both existing and new customers. The role involves a varied daily routine where you switch between customer visits, quotation work, and close collaboration with operations. Travel is a natural part of the role.
We want to continue developing our long-term customer relationships and secure more large projects, while obviously helping our customers with the smaller assignments that arise along the way.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and develop long-term customer relationships
- Create new business and develop existing customers
- Visit customers and identify new business opportunities
- Calculate jobs and prepare estimates and bids
- Plan assignments in collaboration with operations
- Work in our business systems with quotations, orders, and follow-ups
- Follow up on business and contribute to developing our offering
Who We Are Looking For
We believe you started your career out in the industry. Perhaps you previously worked as a mechanic, industrial fitter, welder, pipefitter, or in industrial maintenance before taking the step into a role involving sales, quotation work, or customer contacts.
We are looking for someone who has worked practically in the industry, as we believe this experience makes you best suited to assess a job, calculate the right solution, and build trust with our customers.
You know how jobs are carried out in practice and can therefore make realistic assessments of time, materials, and resources. At the same time, you enjoy calculating jobs, working in business systems, and preparing well-thought-out quotations.
We also believe that you:
- have a practical background in the industry
- have experience in sales, quotation work, and/or customer contacts
- are accustomed to calculating jobs and preparing estimates and quotations
- have good computer skills and feel comfortable working in business systems
- can translate customer needs into an executable and profitable solution
- take initiative and enjoy creating new business
- hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
If you have previously run your own business or been responsible for a workshop or department, we view this as a merit.
