Dematek AB is the market's most comprehensive supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented throughout Sweden and are now looking for another service technician for our region around Fagersta. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

About you:

You will be offered a role where you manage your own working days and plan your work independently at our customers' sites. We expect you to appreciate working with freedom under responsibility. At our customers' locations, you will perform preventive maintenance, service, and installation of our products such as overhead cranes, hoists, pillar jib cranes, and much more related to lifting. We are looking for an open person who enjoys customer contact and likes to sell both our services and products. You will have a well-equipped service vehicle at your disposal and a large network to call upon when you need help.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A strong interest in technology
• Previous experience as a service technician
• Experience with common administrative systems
• Category B driver's license
• Basic knowledge of English
• Swedish citizenship (some assignments require security-cleared background checks)

It is an advantage if you have electrical knowledge and can program PLCs. The willingness to learn is valued higher than a specific educational background. Please specify why you are the right fit for Dematek!

The work can be physically demanding, and since it is sometimes performed at heights, a valid fitness certificate for climbing with significant elevation differences is required. Underground work also occurs.

We prefer that you are meticulous, service-oriented, have a strong interest in technology, and enjoy customer contact. You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish.

Other

We assume you are residing in the region around Fagersta. You will work from home and have the opportunity to use the service vehicle as a company car. The position is full-time.

Many of our customers require security clearance. Therefore, it is important that you have a clean criminal record as well as a stable and good financial background. At some customers, alcohol and drug tests may be part of their security routines.
