About the Role

As a sprinkler technician/facility technician at Pema, you will start from home with your own service vehicle. Your daily routine is filled with variety, and no two days are alike. You work in environments such as schools, preschools, and nursing homes, where you, together with your team, are responsible for fire and sprinkler systems.

You work with a high degree of personal responsibility and plan your time efficiently, often needing to reprioritize your daily tasks quickly. Within the fire team, we support each other, and you will find a family-like atmosphere with a relaxed vibe and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities

In the role of sprinkler technician at Pema, you are responsible for:

• Conducting regular inspections of valves, pressure, water supply, alarm functions, and pumps.
• Ensuring system operation and that sprinkler heads are not blocked.
• Accurately documenting all inspections in the operation and control journal directly on-site.
• Performing self-inspections (weekly to semi-annually) and ensuring annual maintenance and inspections are carried out.
• Acting as the contact person during alarms and operational disruptions.
• Collaborating with service companies, rescue services, and the customer's fire safety officer.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who loves when things are happening and can reprioritize in the schedule when conditions change. You are meticulous and take pride in leaving nothing to chance; safety always comes first. You are someone who likes structure but thrives best in a daily life with full speed.

We see that you have:

• Education: Documented education as a sprinkler facility technician (according to the Swedish Fire Protection Association's guidelines).
• Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience within sprinklers.
• Competence: Good understanding of building fire protection, the function of sprinkler systems, and applicable regulations such as SBF 120:8.
• Driver's License: Category B driver's license is a requirement to start from home with the service vehicle.
• Personality: You are loyal, social, and have a natural respect for all the people you meet in your daily life. You are meticulous in your work and have structure in what you perform.

Meritorious: If you have a background as a plumber/HVAC technician or experience with systematic fire protection work (SBA) and fire alarms, this is considered a big plus.
