About the role At Uniflex, we are currently looking for a traveling service technician for an exciting assignment within a socially vital operation. In this role, you will work with technical installation in bus and train environments, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of public transport every day. You will be employed by Uniflex and work in a project-based manner together with a small, cohesive team at our client's site, where the work is carried out on vehicles across Sweden.

The work is primarily during daytime hours, but evening and weekend work may occur. Travel within Sweden is a natural part of the role, and overnight stays away from home may be required.

You will depart from home and travel to the project site, often staying away for weeks at a time.

Responsibilities In this role, you will primarily be responsible for:

• Installation and assembly of technical equipment in buses and trains
• Work with IT and electronic systems such as payment systems, cameras, and other vehicle-related technology
• Removal, troubleshooting, and upgrading of existing systems
• Interpretation of electrical diagrams and technical documentation
• Project work together with colleagues, where you gradually take on more responsibility

Who are you? We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and experience in technical installation or assembly. You are practical, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work in an environment where quality and safety are paramount. You also have a good understanding of electronics. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have a natural ability to collaborate with others.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license (Category B) (required)
• Previous experience in technical installation or assembly (required)
• Experience reading electrical diagrams or automotive electronics (meritorious)
