Are you curious about taking on supervisory responsibilities? We are now looking for a Shift Leader for A12!
What you will be doing
In the role of Shift Leader, you work with the production of fuel ethanol, protein feed, and carbon dioxide. You have overall operational responsibility for your shift team and make operational decisions based on given conditions.
You are responsible for ensuring that production meets set weekly and monthly plans regarding volume, environment, and safety, and that manufactured products meet current product specifications. In your work, you are supported by operators and collaborate closely with other shift leaders as well as day-shift functions.
The role involves supervisory responsibility without formal personnel management duties. You monitor the work in the shift team and ensure that competence development takes place according to set goals.
As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for reporting disruptions and deviations to production or company management. You plan and follow up on urgent tasks performed during non-standard working hours, ensuring they are carried out efficiently with a high focus on safety. You ensure compliance with current environmental conditions and permits, and initiate actions in case of acute occupational health and safety deficiencies. The role also includes handling work permits and making decisions on calling in on-call staff.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and controlling production from the control room
- Participating in daily control as well as risk and change analyses
- Patrolling the facility
- Participating in production-related projects and improvement work
You are a role model in 5S and actively participate in various improvement and group works.
The position is located at our facility in Norrköping. You report to the Operations Manager A12, Mattias Ejeskog.
What you need to succeed and thrive
You have:
- A technical high school education or equivalent
- Good knowledge of safety and risk assessment
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English
You are:
- A confident and clear leader who fosters good collaboration
- Driven and action-oriented
- Pedagogical and willing to share your knowledge
- Aware of quality, environment, and safety
- Structured, strong in planning, and proactive in operational work
In this role, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
You share Lantmännen’s values – Openness, Holistic View, and Drive – as well as our pledge to take responsibility from farm to table.
