About the job

The role involves working within the Local Supply Section, which consists of 10 people. The section is responsible for the agency's premises and internal workplace services. The current tasks involve extensive contact both within and outside the Swedish Transport Administration's organization. The role of caretaker involves very mobile and flexible work. You are part of the Local Supply Section and collaborate with colleagues in internal services, but in Borlänge, you are the sole caretaker and are responsible independently for the daily tasks.

You will

  • handle mail and parcel services for our internal and external customers
  • fix minor defect reports that arise internally in the building
  • receive and place deliveries as well as store materials
  • inspect the premises and handle activities related to this
  • ensure waste management
  • move furniture
  • handle assignments from the property manager
  • perform simple repairs
  • be the contact person for suppliers for local cleaning and waste.

You must have

  • a completed upper secondary education with final grades
  • at least three (3) years of work experience as a caretaker or equivalent
  • basic knowledge of MS Office
  • basic knowledge of case management systems
  • good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have

  • worked at an agency with similar tasks.

The employment is permanent with placement in Borlänge. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our security-class tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
