RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher for grades Pre-3, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to the curriculum. Together with your colleagues, you will motivate, engage, and increase participation and goal achievement for the students. You will collaborate with teachers, other staff, and guardians. Mentorship and teaching in mixed-age classes are included in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility for grades Pre-3. Good digital skills, as well as a good understanding of the Swedish language and the ability to communicate without hindrance, are requirements for the position.

You are good at establishing new contacts with both students, colleagues, and guardians, and have the ability to meet all students. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.

• Pedagogical: You have a good understanding of how humans, and especially children, absorb knowledge. You adapt the way you convey messages to the target group.
• Solution-oriented: You quickly find solutions to emerging problems. You think outside the box, think in new ways, and find new solutions to problems.
• Structured: You plan, organize, and prioritize work in an effective way, and set and keep timeframes.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Gripenbergs School is located in the outer areas of the municipality and has students from Pre-school class to grade 6, as well as an after-school center. Since the school is beautifully situated in the countryside, we are close to nature, which becomes a natural part of the teaching.
