The Swedish Customs Authority (Tullverket) has the mission to stop or seriously disrupt organized crime and to prevent the illegal import of narcotics and doping substances, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, and other goods that threaten life, health, and the environment.
The Customs Authority primarily consists of the Control Division, the Customs Crime Division, the Intelligence Division, and the Collection Division. The work spans the entire chain from intelligence, analysis, and control to the completion of preliminary investigations.
