RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have a role involving leadership for medical secretaries and administrative staff within the radiology operations in Kristianstad, Hässleholm, and Ystad, covering approximately 13 employees. The role is part of an ongoing development where leadership is consolidated to strengthen collaboration, quality, and efficiency.

As a manager leading employees, you steer your operations in the expected direction towards the organization's goals. The engagement of your employees is crucial for success in your assignment, and you value coaching, giving feedback, evaluating performance, promoting collaboration, and creating a good work climate. Together with your employees, you develop the operations through efficient working methods with high quality and follow up continuously for learning and further development. You have employer and management responsibility covering employees, operations, and economy.

Examples of focus areas in the role:

• Ensure efficient flows between systems and reduce bottlenecks
• Responsible for accessibility and booking, including RIS
• Monitor production and volumes
• Promote collaboration between professional roles
• Develop technology's contribution to a good work environment

You report to the Operations Manager and are part of the area's management group.

The position involves work at three locations with some possibility of remote work. Since the position involves a smaller number of employees, this role can also be combined with clinical work within Radiology.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed radiographer with eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare, or has another completed higher education or university degree focused on health and medical care
• Has a good understanding of radiological workflows, administrative processes, and the role of medical secretaries in the care chain
• Has experience with PACS, RIS, and medical record systems and understands how these systems interact for efficient patient flows
• Is communicative and confident in collaboration with IT, system administration, and suppliers
• Has good technical and analytical skills and can develop, improve, and ensure the quality of administrative processes, working methods, and digital solutions
• Has good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

The following is considered meritorious:

• Managerial or leadership experience and leadership training
• Experience with system administration or operational development within radiology
