About the role
Do you want to be part of Vardaga's development in Region Syd? We are looking for someone who dares to think and work using new methods, and who is systematic and meticulous. You will become the closest support to the operations managers and collaborate with the Regional Manager, forming part of their leadership team. Together, you will ensure a positive work climate in the region.
Based on your areas of responsibility, you will continuously follow up and report results to the Regional Manager, ensuring that we adhere to agreements and quality standards within the operations. A key part of the job is maintaining good relationships with customers, relatives, clients, authorities, and other interest organizations. As Deputy Regional Manager, you will also drive development work aimed at improving quality and economics. As Deputy Regional Manager, you are responsible for the following areas:
Drive and represent the company in the region based on our goals and values.
Lead, develop, and support operations managers in the region.
Stimulate creativity and challenge established working methods together with the operations managers.
Be responsible for operational work (coordinating role), which includes being responsible for launching new operations or closing down existing ones.
Assist the Regional Manager in procurement and bidding processes, as well as identify and develop new business opportunities.
Act as acting operations manager or acting Regional Manager when needed.

About Region Syd
Region Syd currently has 13 operations. The operations are geographically distributed across the municipalities in Skåne.

You have a relevant university education within care and social services (e.g., social worker, nurse, or physiotherapist) and experience in elderly care. You also have a few years of documented experience in managerial roles and good references regarding leadership.
All Deputy Regional Managers undergo our leadership program, where you get the opportunity to develop within leadership through our educational organization, Lära. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position involves travel throughout the region, so a driver's license is a requirement.
