Are you ready to take the next step as a Senior Category Manager within strategic procurement? Here, you will combine category management responsibilities with complex tenders in an industry crucial to Sweden's electrification!

About the role

You will be strategically responsible for the consulting category and for driving complex IT tenders and contracts that strengthen Ellevio's sourcing, digitalization, and business acumen. This is a role for you who wants to work both strategically and closely with the business regarding category management within the consulting area. You will develop sourcing strategies, work with contract management and supplier governance, drive negotiations, and support the business in call-off processes. At the same time, you will lead complex IT tenders within areas such as project deliveries and maintenance, and contribute to the development of AI initiatives and modern working methods within the procurement function.

• Category Management for Consultants: develop strategy, manage framework agreements, follow up on suppliers, and drive negotiations.
• Strategic IT Procurement: project-based and concrete work with complex tenders and contracts within the IT area.
• Business Development: contribute to the development of working methods, governance, and AI initiatives within procurement.

Here, you will have a key role with great freedom, a clear mandate, and the opportunity to influence both category work and tenders in a business that invests heavily in the future. Your base of operations can be at our headquarters in Stockholm or at the regional office in Karlstad. Travel occurs, for example, for supplier audits and negotiations.

Qualifications and fit

You are a confident and business-minded procurement professional with strong self-leadership. You enjoy taking responsibility, driving issues forward, and navigating complex tenders where multiple interests must meet. At the same time, you are communicative, collaborative, and good at building trust – both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant academic education in areas such as IT, engineering, economics, or law – or equivalent education and work experience.
• Extensive experience in strategic procurement, tendering, negotiation, and supplier development.
• Experience in contract management within the consulting and/or IT sectors.
• Good knowledge of standard contracts, such as ABK09, as well as contracts for IT projects and IT maintenance.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience as an IT buyer or from strategic IT management.
• Experience with tenders according to LOU/LUF (Swedish Public Procurement Acts).
• Experience with AI initiatives within procurement or business development.
