About the Administration

The Joint Management Administration consists of the areas Democracy & Service, Economy & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Urban Planning, Rescue Services & Security, and the Support Staff.

The administration is tasked with leading, supporting, and coordinating the entire municipal organization on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board. This is done by focusing on the customer's needs, maintaining a holistic view, and using common working methods. We are a learning organization that promotes innovation and learning from both the external environment and each other.

About the Working Life & Digital Technology Area

This area brings together the HR, Payroll, and IT units and is responsible for the municipality's employer role, strategies for competence supply, and the management and operation of the technical platform and digital infrastructure. By consolidating employer issues, payroll processes, and technical prerequisites, we create a better whole, reduce vulnerability, and strengthen the municipality's ability to meet the long-term competence supply needs within the welfare sector.

Job Description

In the role of Junior System Developer, you will work with system development and integrations in a stable and socially important environment. You will become part of a team that works according to agile methods to develop, maintain, and automate our internal and external system flows.

The role offers good opportunities for competence development and mentorship from more senior colleagues.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• Completed academic degree or post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as Data Technology, System Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent developer training.
• Basic knowledge and experience of programming in Python.
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages and technologies:
  • Programming in Python
  • Script development in PowerShell
  • Basic knowledge of Elixir
  • Workflow orchestration and process automation
  • Container technology with Docker
  • Agile working methods, e.g., Scrum or Kanban
  • Work in Linux and Windows environments
  • Basic understanding of system design and design principles
