Our Operations

Håbo-Enköping is a general psychiatric outpatient clinic centrally located in Enköping.

We are in an exciting period of change where we work extensively on developing our organization and care processes to offer the best possible treatment options for our patients. We are also now beginning to shift psychiatric care to become more home-based and to increase the proportion of self-care.

We have a broad scope in our operations, where we both investigate and treat individuals with, among other things, severe affective problems, neuropsychiatric disabilities, psychotic illnesses, and substance use disorders. We work with medical treatments, investigations, counseling, consultation, and, if necessary, support for relatives.

As a nurse at our clinic, you have significant individual responsibility for how you structure your work. The nurses at the clinic are competent and plan their work together. Our work is sometimes unpredictable, which is why flexibility in your working methods is very important.

Enköping has good transport connections to both Uppsala, Stockholm, and Västerås. The clinic is located in bright premises within walking distance from the travel center.

Your Role

Your role is based on the needs of the patients and the operations. We strive to ensure that specific competencies and interests can be developed within the framework of the role.

As a nurse at the clinic, you represent the nursing perspective in the team. The team consists, in addition to nurses, of doctors, social workers, psychologists, care assistants, and occupational therapists.

You work with all steps of the nursing process: assessments, analysis of care needs, formulation of care problems, and in consultation with the patient, you make decisions on care goals and health-promoting and/or health-preserving measures based on science and proven experience. The position also includes nursing care in the form of medication administration, sample collection, and medical assessments. You also work with the core competencies of the nurse, such as improvement work and the development of evidence-based working methods. You collaborate in the team based on your nursing competence.

In team work, there is an opportunity for deepening and specialization. You participate in quality work within your area of competence and take part in research and development work.

Your Qualifications

You are a registered nurse with at least a bachelor's degree, preferably with experience from both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care. Further education in psychiatry is an advantage.

Your Competence

As a person, you are driven, professionally proud, and have good collaboration skills. You thrive working independently and in teams and have a high level of ambition regarding professional responsibility. You enjoy working interprofessionally and take responsibility for staying scientifically up-to-date in your field. Personal suitability will be given great weight in the appointment.
