Description

Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 4 is an outpatient clinic within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP), located centrally at S:t Eriksplan.

The clinic has a general psychiatric core mission where we work with medication treatment, psychological therapy, occupational therapy interventions, psychosocial work, and group therapies. In the same building in the Atlas area, there are also several highly specialized outpatient clinics within NSP, enabling close and well-functioning collaboration between the clinics.

We are approximately 25 employees and work in two teams. The work group has broad competence with professional roles such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, care assistants, and medical secretaries. At the clinic, you will be one of five nurses.

Tasks

As a nurse at our clinic, you have an important role in the treatment work with our patients. Tasks include following up and optimizing medication treatments (including central stimulant treatment), assessing and distributing patient cases, working with psychosocial and psycho-pedagogical counseling, staffing the advice phone and "Always Open" service, as well as some sample collection. As a nurse, you are part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. Experience of working in psychiatry is meritorious.

You have good cooperation skills and can create trusting relationships with patients, colleagues, and partners. The work requires flexibility and the ability to adapt the work based on the needs of the operation.

You have a structured way of working, are meticulous, and have the ability to handle several tasks in parallel.

Good computer skills are required. Documentation is done in the journal system Take Care.

We would like you to have an interest and commitment to ADHD treatment, as well as experience and knowledge in the area. The work is based on the team, but also requires independence and the ability to plan and carry out tasks on your own.

We value interest in development work as well as broad experience and background. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

Full-time. Permanent employment. Start date by agreement. Selection takes place continuously during the application period.

The clinic applies flexible hours under responsibility. We have a wellness hour and provide a wellness allowance. Individual salary setting.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

- a register check is applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.

- in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
