Job Responsibilities

At Vrigstad School, we have a consolidated school day and work with "Fritids i Skolan" (FRIS - After-School in School) for grades Pre-K to 2. As a teacher in the after-school center, you will work both with FRIS sessions in the after-school center and can also teach in the school. With the 2026/2027 school year approaching, Vrigstad School and the after-school center are expanding, and we will move our after-school center into new premises during the school year.

As a teacher at Vrigstad School and the after-school center, you share joint responsibility for your tasks together with the work team. The position includes FRIS in Pre-K and the after-school center. The current service plan also includes one session of Swedish as a Second Language (Hkk) in class 6 per week.

At Vrigstad School, we work variably using both analog and digital aids as support for students' learning. We work broadly on the school with safety and accessibility, as well as to develop the quality of teaching.

Together with the Student Health Service and the School's Safety Team, we work to promote and prevent issues so that our students feel safe and well.

Qualifications

You, the applicant, must have a teacher certification for the after-school center with eligibility to teach in certain school subjects, a Pre-K to Grade 3 teacher education, or be currently studying to become a teacher.

You should demonstrate good collaboration skills with both internal and external persons around the group. You maintain a professional attitude in all situations and have experience showing that you can be flexible regarding different students' personalities and abilities.

We place great emphasis on the applicant's personal qualities.

Good proficiency in Swedish is required.

Experience working with children and in the school world is meritorious.
