Description

Fryele School is a grades F-6 school with an integrated after-school center, located approximately 1 mile outside of Värnamo in a beautiful natural rural environment. Forest and water are right at your doorstep, offering great opportunities for outdoor teaching and activities. The school has approximately 40 students, of whom about 20 are enrolled in the after-school center.

Fryele School is part of the Enehagen school district. Students in the middle school grades receive their instruction in practical-esthetic subjects at Enehagen School. The school is led by a principal who works on-site a few days a week or part of a day. The student health team (ENE/FRY) consists of the principal, counselor, special education teacher, special needs teacher, school speech therapist, and school psychologist, with parts of the team present at the school during the week. Students in grades 4-6 have access to a small school library at Fryele School, but receive instruction time from a qualified school librarian at Enehagen School during their visits there.

We work for a positive climate where both students and staff feel joy in coming to school and the after-school center, by focusing on both the group and the individual.

Responsibilities

The position is for a teacher with instruction primarily directed towards grades 4-6. You will work in both mixed-age and same-age classes, both independently and in collaboration with other teachers, school resources, and/or after-school teachers. Depending on your qualifications, we can be flexible regarding the content of the position, such as subjects and grade levels.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach in grades 4–6. We place great emphasis on your ability to meet students based on their different needs. You are engaged, creative, and see possibilities in the pedagogical work.

Conditions

The position is subject to the necessary decisions being made. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
