to apply for the job
It is on behalf of the Swedish Government that the Swedish National Property Board (SFV) manages our shared natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, palaces and royal residences, theatres, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.
As employees, we are proud to work for a government agency, to work based on the Swedish government's values, and to contribute to positive societal development.
If you want to contribute to preserving Sweden's cultural heritage in properties that all have a story to tell, then you might be the person we are looking for.
The Stockholm Central property area includes properties on Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen, Riddarholmen, Djurgården, Gamla Stan, the Stockholm Observatory, and Tumba Bruk. Our tenants are found in both the public sector and private business.
The Position
As a property technician (fastighetsskötare) with us, you will have an independent and varied job. You will be based at the operations office at Tumba Bruk, where a large part of the portfolio consists of residential properties, but you will also work in other parts of the property area.
Responsibilities
The work includes, among other things:
- Supervision and maintenance of buildings (incl. SBA)
- Corrective maintenance and repairs for tenants
- Utility meter readings
- Handling of keys and parking permits
- Participation, e.g., in inspections and contracting work
No day is like the other, and you play a key role in ensuring a well-functioning and professional management.
Your Background
To be considered for the position, you must have several years of experience in similar tasks within the property industry, preferably with a property technician education as a foundation. You thrive in the role but wish to develop further in a different context. The position requires that you have a B-class driver's license.
Personal Qualities
For us, your personal qualities are important as you are often the person our tenants meet – and thus an important representative for SFV.
You appreciate personal interaction and enjoy creating and maintaining good relationships with tenants, colleagues, and contractors. You are curious and like to take initiative. Sharing your experience and knowledge is second nature to you. Since the operations office at Tumba Bruk is normally staffed only by you, it is important that you take personal responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward independently. A structured work approach, good computer skills, and orderliness are prerequisites for success in the role. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Working in cultural-historical environments is something you value, and you understand the special requirements imposed, such as limitations on what can be done in our buildings.
How to Apply
To apply for the position, please attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions based on the requirement profile. In the initial selection, we will only consider your CV and your answers to the questions. We request that you answer concretely and concisely, and that there is a clear link between your answers and your CV.
If you have protected personal data, please contact the recruiting manager to submit your application.
We work to promote diversity and counteract discrimination and welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences.
