About the Location

Ljungsätra is located by the Lagan River, with walking trails, close proximity to a bus stop, and shops. The building consists of three structures with four floors, totaling 80 apartments.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help create a safe, meaningful, and valuable everyday life for elderly people? Welcome to Ljungsätra Specialized Housing. Here, you will have a job where you make a difference in another person's life every day.

As an assistant nurse or care aide, you work closely with the care recipients, basing your work on their individual needs, wishes, and conditions. You support them in their daily lives to promote independence, participation, and quality of life. Duties include, among other things, personal care, service tasks, social interaction, and documentation according to current guidelines.

You will become an important part of a dedicated team where collaboration, respect, and a person-centered approach permeate the operations. Together, we create a safe and stimulating environment for both care recipients and employees.

For those who are assistant nurses, the role of permanent contact person for care may be included. This means you have a particularly important role in creating continuity, security, and good coordination regarding the care recipient, as well as being a natural contact for relatives and colleagues.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse or care aide with a genuine interest in working with and supporting elderly people in their daily lives.

For the position of assistant nurse, you must have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. As a trained assistant nurse, you are also expected, in accordance with current legislation, to be able to take on the role of permanent contact person and contribute to continuity, security, and coordination for the individual.

You have good collaboration skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to treat care recipients, relatives, and colleagues with respect and sensitivity.

Desirable qualifications:

• We would appreciate it if you had training in low-affective interaction or other equivalent competence that strengthens the ability to treat people with respect, sensitivity, and professionalism even in complex situations. You have a calm and secure attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships.
• Education and/or experience working with people with cognitive impairment, including dementia, is desirable. We value knowledge of person-centered care and the ability to adapt support and interaction based on the individual's needs.

The employer requires a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) prior to employment.
